LEO
Leo is the sign most closely associated with royalty, this sign loves luxury and would rather have a handful of beautifully cut designer items than a closet full of lesser threads. Leo loves precious stones and gems, and the association with gold harks back to the link between Leo and royalty. This sign has a lively lifestyle, for the Leo woman adores cultural activities. She’ll spend a Saturday checking out art galleries, museum exhibits, or going with her partner or friends to a rock concert or ballet.

Leo loves compliments — and she will freely admit this. She puts a lot of time and energy into her appearance, so when it is noticed she’s happy her adoring public appreciates the effort she’s made. She is a confident soul, and so the Leo woman certainly knows how to make an entrance. She knows how to give the paparazzi the most flattering photograph possible whenever she walks the red carpet.

Leo is suited for the entertainment industry — actor, singer, producer, director, lighting and set design, costume design, screenwriter or playwright, choreographer, filmmaker or photographer. Her taste is superb, so others become fine art painters or sculptures. Leos also make great teachers who demonstrate their teachings in an entertaining, memorable way. Others become brilliant managers, for they exert their authority firmly but always with a warm, open heart and sense of humor.

VIRGO
Virgo is analytical, discerning, precise, spiritual and practical. Like Gemini, Mercury rules her sign, but unlike Gemini who delights in all news, Virgo requires a purpose in consuming information. She believes if you spend time reading a magazine learning about all the new trends, and then it is important to take action on at least one new thing.

Virgo is born at the time of the harvest, when Mother Nature is at her most bountiful. This is why she loves neutral colors. A practical soul, Ms. Virgo knows she has a busy lifestyle and needs comfort, and she prefers separates. She is a modest creature — the Virgo woman doesn’t want — or need — her outfits to shout her arrival but rather whisper.

Her sign is associated with medicine and of healing. It is not surprising that Virgo leans toward the medical field. In publishing, Virgos make some of the best editors around, for her eagle eyes can find the smallest grammatical error and how to make the manuscript more compelling. She spots glaring errors before anyone else, the reason why she would make a fine book, movie or restaurant critic. Virgo reads a lot, and so her knowledge is broad and deep.

Virgos work with their hands, and make superb dressmakers, pattern makers and seamstresses — one famous fashion designer said he would only hire Virgos in his studio. To Virgo fine fit is vital, and she will bring her clothes to the tailor and sometimes replace buttons with better ones. Virgo is smart — she won’t discard a garment if she loves it.

LIBRA
Libra is refined, diplomatic, polished and stylish. A daughter of Venus, the planet of beauty and grace, she always looks fresh, her makeup applied with a light touch.
Libra is considered the marriage sign and is happiest when coupled up. To her, marriage is sacred, and Libra will do all she can, including make joint decisions, to preserve and protect her relationship.

Libra’s motif is the scales, and she seeks perfect balance in all things. She expects ideal fairness, so it’s not surprising that many Libras go into the legal profession. Libra is particularly effective when debating a case — she usually needs an opposite sounding board to sharpen her thinking. In the business world, Libras enjoy partnering people together who she feels would benefit from the association. Libra works well in fields that take advantage of her natural diplomacy, such as labor negotiators, diplomats and ambassadors. One place you will find lots of Libras is in fashion, as designers, editors and writers, for Libra is the arbiter of taste. She is the one who will tell you what’s new, whether it’s a restaurant, movie or book.

Venus’ dominion over all things that are beautiful, including jewelry, makes Libra love to receive earrings and necklaces. Libra feels a girl can’t possibly have enough sparkly earrings, so get her several pairs. And Libra loves bags too — Venus is always depicted in the Old Master’s paintings with gold coins in her hand. (Venus associated with not only love and beauty, but with money too.)

SCORPIO
The Scorpio woman is confident and poised — and just a little bit secretive — but she does not have a large ego, so she tends to shun the spotlight. Sophisticated, intense and brilliant when working in business, she is savvy and street smart, and knows how to make money multiply.

Scorpio excels in law enforcement, detective work — anything that requires great secrecy such as the FBI, CIA or the foreign service. Scorpio likes to work autonomously and alone, making her perfect for the spy business. Or competitive product development, finance, banking, trading, venture capital.

Marriage is sacred to Scorpio; it’s a covenant that she does not enter into lightly. She keeps her promises and expects her mate to do the same. The Scorpio woman is never one to kiss and tell. She is a private person, and to her, private matters must stay private. She is hypnotic and mysterious, and her eyes are her most memorable quality. Her direct gaze makes the person she is with at a crowded party feel as though there were no one else in the room — or on earth, for that matter. She will ask you many questions, but a Scorpio woman will not volunteer information about herself.
